EaglePicher Technologies Awarded Two Satellite Programs by Orbital Sciences Corporation

Joplin, Mo., December 11, 2007--EaglePicher Technologies, LLC, an EaglePicher company, today announced it has been awarded two satellite battery programs by Orbital Sciences Corporation (OSC). The orders are for the manufacture of lithium ion batteries to power SES Americom’s AMC-5R and FM-1 satellites during eclipse.

EaglePicher Technologies Receives $2.9 Million Defense Contract to Support Automated Manufacturing of Missile Batteries Contract part of 2008 Defense Appropriations Bill

Joplin, Missouri, December 3, 2007 – EaglePicher Technologies, LLC, an EaglePicher company, today announced it has received a $2.9 million defense contract as part of the 2008 Defense Appropriations Bill. This government contract will fund the qualification of new missile, portable power and Department of Defense batteries at EaglePicher Technologies’ new automated facility in Pittsburg, Kan. The new 30,000 ft2 facility positions EaglePicher at the forefront of U.S.-based battery suppliers for defenserelated programs.

EaglePicher Technologies Ships First Lithium-Ion Batteries for Communications Satellites

Joplin, Missouri, November 28, 2007 – EaglePicher Technologies, LLC, an EaglePicher company and a leading producer of batteries and energetic devices for the defense, space and commercial industries, today announced it has shipped its first two orders for lithium-ion (Li-Ion) batteries to Orbital Sciences Corporation (OSC). New Center Focuses on Key Technology Development

EaglePicher Technologies Names Viet Vu Vice President of Technology

EaglePicher Technologies Awarded $1 Million Contract

Joplin, Missouri, July 25, 2007 – EaglePicher Technologies, LLC, an EaglePicher company, today announced receipt of a $1 million contract from the Canadian Department of National Defence (DND) to supply BA-5590 lithium-sulfur dioxide
batteries. Delivery of the 20,000 batteries will be completed in the fourth quarter of this year.

EaglePicher Technologies Awarded $1.6 Million Contract

Joplin, Mo., July 12, 2007 – EaglePicher Technologies, LLC, an EaglePicher company, today announced receipt of a $1.6 million contract from Ultralife Batteries, Inc. to supply BA-5590 lithium-sulfur dioxide batteries. Delivery of the 30,000 batteries, intended for the Australian Department of Defence, will be completed in the fourth quarter of this year. “We are proud of our reputation for providing maximum-performance batteries with short lead times for delivery,” said Steve Westfall, president of EaglePicher Technologies. “The United States Army is a core customer, but we also have a strong international client base.” EP Technologies also provides BA-5590s to the defense departments of the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia.

EaglePicher Technologies Receives CECOM Approval for Military Grade Batteries

JOPLIN, Mo. – (May 7, 2007) – EaglePicher Technologies, LLC, a leading producer of batteries and energetic devices for the defense, space and commercial industries, announced today they have received CE LCMC (Communications Electronic Life Cycle Management Command) approval from the U.S. Army for EaglePicher’s BA-5380 and BA-5360 batteries. These lithium manganese dioxide batteries, designed to meet U.S. Army specifications, provide approximately 35 percent more running time than their sulfur dioxide predecessors.
