Domestic Shipping Instructions
DOMESTIC SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS – OCTOBER 2011
The following supplier routing instructions are to be adhered to when EaglePicher Technologies LLC is responsible for the freight charges. These instructions supersede all previous instructions either written or verbal, unless other instructions are expressly noted on EPT purchase order. EPT reserves the right to debit Supplier's Account for all excess and administrative costs incurred through supplier's failure to comply with these instructions.
EPT Purchase Order Number(s) must be referenced in the "Shipper Reference" or "Billing Reference" area of all bills of ladings, air bills and on all shipping labels, packing lists and invoices. No prepaid and adding of freight, pickup or handling charges of any kind will be paid or allowed on Supplier's Invoice unless expressly called out on the EPT purchase order.
PARCEL shipmentsare to be shipped either FedEx Ground or FedEx Express based on purchase order instructions. Ship freight collect to Fedex Account number listed on purchase order or contact the buyer listed at the bottom of the purchase order.MAXIMUM shipment weight 150 pounds. Please call 1-800-GO-FEDEX for pick up.
LTL shipment 150 pounds to less than a truck load by weight or volume, or Exceeds FedEx Size Limit: Ship VITRAN direct service if available (check at Schedule a Pickup at www.vitranexpress.com) "Third Party Billing" to EaglePicher c/o Odyssey Logistics & Technology, 4421 Stuart Andrew Blvd. Suite 500, Department 22, Charlotte, NC 28217. To schedule pickup with VITRAN call 800-366-3840. Account number is not required. ONLYif VITRAN direct service is not available, use UPS Freight "Third Party Billing" to EaglePicher c/o Odyssey Logistics & Technology, 4421 Stuart Andrew Blvd. Suite 500, Department 22, Charlotte, NC 28217. To schedule a UPS Freight pickup call 800-333-7400. Account number is not required.
TL and SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (air-ride, padded van, oversized, bulk, refrigerated, etc.) contact EaglePicher Logistics Office 3-5 days in advance of ship date at 417-623-8000 ext 619 or 411.
Shipping by other than what is specifically stated in the purchase order (i.e. different carrier or service level such as: air vs. ground or next day vs. 2nd day) must be approved by EPT Purchasing Department ONLY.
