EaglePicher Technologies, LLC Announces Appointment Of Rear Admiral Grant T. Hollett, Jr. (Usnr, Retired) As Interim President And Chief Executive Officer
Cincinnati, Ohio – October 3, 2001 – EaglePicher Technologies, LLC, announced today that Rear Admiral Grant T. Hollett, Jr., USNR, retired, has been appointed interim President and Chief Executive Officer effective immediately. Admiral Hollett has also been elected to the Board of Directors of EaglePicher Technologies and as Chairman of the Board. Admiral Hollett succeeds William E. Long, who is retiring after 40 years with EaglePicher.
Admiral Hollett is currently Vice President and General Manager of Siemens Motion Controls Systems. He has been instrumental in integrating the former Vickers Electronic Systems following its acquisition by Siemens, streamlining operations, energizing the organization and achieving targeted financial results in a down market.

EaglePicher Technologies is engaged in a search for a permanent President and Chief Executive Officer. Admiral Hollett will remain on the Board of Directors after this search is completed.
