Inkster, Michigan-based EaglePicher Automotive consists of two business units: Hillsdale Division, Hillsdale, Michigan, and Wolverine Division, Inkster, Michigan.

Hillsdale Automotive

Hillsdale Automotive manufactures precision machined components and assemblies, including dampers, filtration products, knuckles, driveline products and pump components. From headquarters in Hillsdale, Michigan, and sales and engineering offices in Inkster, Michigan, the division operates 12 facilities in the U.S., Mexico and the U.K.

The division is the first North American damper manufacturer with custom rubber compounding and manufacturing as well as precision machining capabilities. In addition, the division’s technical center is dedicated to vibration control system development and testing, a metallurgical laboratory, prototype machining facilities and CAD/CAM/FEA capabilities.

Wolverine Advanced Materials

Wolverine Advanced Materials is a worldwide supplier of rubber, metallic and paper-coated gasketing for the automotive OEM and industrial markets. The division operates plants in Virginia, Florida and Germany, and a research and development facility at its Inkster, Michigan, headquarters. The division distributes more than 350 million products annually.

We have long been highly regarded for our creative approach to sound damping and brake system applications. In fact, Wolverine Advanced Materials pioneered the development and use of brake shims worldwide.
